For generations, sand and salt have been applied on streets, parking lots, and highways for the purpose of making our roadways safer.

 

The use of sand and salt is not only costly but has proved to be harmful to the environment. Salt kills vegetation and contaminates underground water sources. Sand creates dusts, clogs drains and catch basins and needs to cleaned up at the end of the season creating additional costs.

 

In recent years, major companies and municipalities have researched different methods of reducing the accumulation of snow and ice on parking lots and highways. 

 

Freezgard C1 Plus is liquid enhanced magnesium chloride that is applied on parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, highways and such, prior to the first snowfall, if possible. Further applications are applied depending on the weather.

 

Freezgard is a natural product that has little impact on the environment. Freezgard is far LESS corrosive than Salt or Calcium Chloride and PREVENTS the bonding of snow pack to the road surface. Freezgard C1 Plus will dissolve up to two (2) inches of non-compacted snowfall. It is best to remove snowfall in excess of two inches as soon as possible to maintain the effectiveness of the anti-icing agent.

 

To apply Freezgard C1 Plus, special equipment is required. The amount of Freezgard C1 Plus liquid applied on the surface is regulated by an on-board computer mounted in the truck cab. GPS enabled speed sensors monitor the computer in maintaining a constant even flow. An LED provides the driver with the specific number of litres being applied.

 

States located in the US snowbelt, and major cities in British Columbia, have been applying an anti-icing liquid with positive results. Freezgard C1 Plus when applied at intersections can dramatically REDUCE accident rates, reducing the amount of sand and salt being used.

 

Freezgard C1 Plus (liquid) is specially formulated for deicing and anti-icing. It remains active(liiquid) at cold temperatures while minimizing precipitates down to zero degrees Farenheit. A corrosion inhibitor has been added to reduce corrosion rate. 

 

Freezgard C1 Plus  is TESTED and PROVEN
